News: MOST INTERESTING CARDS AND COMBOS IN IRON JUDGMENT!

MOST INTERESTING CARDS AND COMBOS IN IRON JUDGMENT!

We really wanted to present you with something useful for an upcoming expansion, so we decided to present you a list with the most interesting cards in Iron Judgement patch, hope you like the list!

NEUTRAL

Iron Falcon Troubadour

Iron Falcon Troubadour

This card is very similar to a ST card- Dwarven Agitator. It allows you to add some more survivability to engines in your hand (your opponent can't stop this), doesn't have the drawback of a low tempo play like Dwarven Agitator and creates a decent combo with another amazing 4 provision neutral Iron Falcon Footman

Living Armour

Living Armor

Living armour is a card that had to find it's place on this list. It allows us to create amazing combos with lots of cards that lower other cards power (eg. Caranthir, Alchemist), but most likely won't see much play in the most competitive decks due to existence of Sappers, which are worth mentioning as well, as they are 5 for 5 provisions, which counters a lot of the newly added cards.

Lambert

Lambert

Lambert isn't exactly a new card, but in this patch his ability, power and provisions, are changed, so he is kind of a new card. He will be an amazing asset to counter upcoming Drones swarm, can also be used against Firesworn Zealots,  Rowdy Dwarfs if your opponent spawns a ton of them (as they have 1 armour, so some value will be mitigated) or NR (Blue Stripes Commandos and Kaedveni Revenant). In the other match-ups, Lambert will find 8 to 10 value, which is a decent amount for 9 provisions.

MONSTERS

Endrega Warrior

Endrega Warrior

This card is just amazing, not only in a Drone swarm. It Gives you 2 consumes, which you can easily set up with the placement of units in previous turns. It offers you the same amount of consume as Barbegazi, while being 2 provisions lower. It's consume as well cannot be prevented and it offers synergy with Drones. Another decent thing about this card is the fact that it's gonna be big when you play it, so it can trigger thrive easily.

Yghern

Yghern

13 points for 10 provisions is amazing, especially that this card can be recycled with Ozzrel. It will be dangerous to play this card due to Sappers, but if you have a Barbegazi on board or are able to consume it with Weavess: Incantation, your value should be easily secured.

NILFGAARD

Fifon Var Gaernel

Fifon Var Gaernel

Every Defender is amazing and can be placed as one of the best cards in the expansion, as if you are playing engines, they are gonna pull back some pressure from your engines. What makes Fifon so special is that he creates Battle Preparation (which is a pretty good card on its own), which synergizes with a tactic, assimilate deploy and soldiers, so its gonna trigger every NG engine. One is sure- due to defenders we will see a lot more purifies in all decks.

Ard Feainn Crossbowman

Ard Feainn Crossbowman

This card is worth 7 points for 5 provisions, even if your opponent prevents you from using barricade by removing the armour. And each soldier you play will give you an additional value.

Affan Hillergrand

Affan Hillergrand

This card had to find it's place on the list as it is the perfect finisher for Imperial Formation (Morvran Voorhis before). With this card the leader ability will be worth 13 points. Affan could be used with Albrich (not reccomended), Courier or Vicovaro novice as well.

SKELLIGE

Dracoturtle

Dracoturtle

Dracoturtle is an amazing card that works well with another newly added card Iris: Shade, but mainly it supports self-wound archetype with a body that can take a lot of damage and generate value from it.

Armored Drakkar

Armored Drakkar

This is probably one of the best bronzes in the expansion. It pairs very well with Svalblod Priest, and essentially can be a bit worse version of Dracoturtle. Beware though, the combo I mentioned above is very susceptible to Geralt: Yrden, which might find his place in many decks after the expansion.

NORTHERN REALMS

Donimir of Troy

Donimir of Troy

This is probably one of the worst defenders, as the best counter to defender is purify, which will remove the shield as well making it a little bit useless. Nonetheless Donimir is a part of a faction that has the best engines in the game, so he should see lots of play.

Redanian Knight

Redanian Knight

This is a very good engine. If your opponent won't deal 4 damage to it, its lowest value will be 6. The only problem is low initial tempo, but it should be recompensated by getting 1 point at the end of every turn.

SCOIATAEL

Zoltan's Company

Zoltan's Company

Scoiatael didn't really get too much besides dwarves, but new cards, that spawn Rowdy Dwarfs are definitely gonna support dwarven archetype by a lot. Barcley Els, Zoltan Chivay and Mahakam Guard are definitely gonna get a lot of value thanks to this card.

SYNDICATE

Savolla

Savolla

An amazing finisher for SY. Pairs very well with Madame Luiza, as if you can triger the tribute it will be an 18 point finisher (Savolla's Frightener).

Dire Mutated Hound

Dire Mutated Hound

This is probably one of the best engines in this expansion. If your opponent removes the armor instantly- you still generate 9 points, and if he doesn't, you'll get a body that buffs itself by 2 each turn.

Azar Javed

Azar Javed

Yet another defender on the list (Scarab is a defender). It's on the list because of Azar's tribute. It allows you to create 2 in one turn, which can only be answered immediately by Caellach Dyffryn. Scarabs contain additional value as well as if your opponent wants to deal damage, not only cant he target engines, but he will give you 2 coins for destroying Scarab.

Thank's for checking out our list if you have any comments on it share them down below, and if you like this kind of summary of card reveals, then you can expect more of them in the future.
