Deck description

Hi all!

Here is a very fun mage deck, that can be quite powerful ( 10 winstreak, although only rank 7) if well managed. Although it might be difficult at the beginning to play it.

The main idea is to use henselt on Cintran magician, and of course use its synergies with mages. Yennefer and gigne are the main combo plays.

Main Characteristcs :

Very good long round 3
Heavy engine decks with some protection
proactive control decks : can remove opponent engine while not slowing down set-ups. This makes this deck tremendously good against engine decks.
Vulnerable to heavy removal decks, although far from auto lose
Kinda weak round 1. Indeed it's better to preserve your Cintrian magicians to round 3

R1 : Caldwell-Cursed knight : potential 10 point rez with necromancy

Adalia- magician or enchantress, but keep the 2 original magician for round 3.

Windhal- Rune words to bait removal

Try to win R1, or push as to force your opponent to dry pass R2.

R2 : Pass most of the time

R3 : (Adalia) -> Henselt->magician-> reinforcement (if not used R1-> Avalach-> Yennefer -> Igni -> Sabrina

The main idea here is of course to use the Cintrian magician to set up the yennefer or the igni.

Try to keep the 10 point knight finisher if you are forced into a short round 3.

Note :

Igni is questionnable but very good because it can destroy big units that prevent Yennefer to hit pack of same-power enemy units. It is also very good against point vomit deck.
Use Adalia R1 if you can. As I said the weakness of this deck is its weak R1. So don't hold back too much R1...

Thanks for reading !!
